Salatiga, November 2, 2024 – The Master of Environmental Science Study Program at Diponegoro University (Undip) together with all study programs under the Graduate School participated in the Strengthening Tracer Study Workshop Semester 2 of 2024 Batch 1. The event, which took place at the Grand Wahid Salatiga Hotel, was held from Thursday, October 31 to Saturday, November 2, 2024.
This workshop was opened by Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., who was present representing the Rector of Undip. In his remarks, Prof. Heru conveyed the importance of tracer study activities in increasing the number of Undip alumni who are absorbed in the world of work, in order to meet the PTNBH Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
This activity presented the main speaker, Prof. Purwanto, Head of the Undip Planning Agency, who explained the strategy and direction of the development of tracer studies at Diponegoro University. The participants from various study programs seemed enthusiastic and serious about participating in each session, considering the importance of tracer studies to achieve the KPI target and measure the quality of Undip graduates in the eyes of the world of work.
Uniquely, on the last day of the workshop, Saturday morning, the participants were invited to refresh Mount Telomoyo. This activity is expected to restore enthusiasm and refresh the mind after two full days of participating in the material. The workshop was then closed with an award to the faculty with the highest achievement in the tracer study, namely FPIK, while the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) received appreciation as the faculty with the highest increase in achievement.
This workshop is an important step for Undip to continue to improve the quality of education and the involvement of alumni in the world
