Semarang, November 4, 2025 — Diponegoro University (Undip) once again held its 180th Graduation Ceremony, which lasted four days, from November 4 to 7, 2025, at the Muladi Dome, Tembalang Campus, Semarang. This monumental event recognized a total of 3,341 graduates who completed their studies during the graduation period from July 1 to September 30, 2025.
🎓 Outstanding Achievements in the Master of Environmental Science (MIL)
On the first day of graduation, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Undip Graduate School also graduated students from various study programs. Specifically, the Master of Environmental Science (MIL) Program inaugurated its five top graduates: Kristianto, Rendy Prihatnanto, Evi Heriyaningtyas, Yohanes Brahmo Emianto, and Angga Mahardika Syahrul Putra.
Of these five graduates, four earned Cum Laude honors, while one earned Very Satisfactory honors.
Individual Achievement Highlights:
• Kristianto graduated Cum Laude and on-time, with a GPA of 3.93 after an impressive study period of 1 year, 11 months, and 26 days.
• Evi Heriyaningtyas held the record for the fastest study period, with a study duration of only 1 year, 6 months, and 9 days.

💡 Graduate Briefing and Award Ceremony
After attending the morning graduation ceremony, the five MIL graduates continued with a Graduate Briefing event at 3:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) in the Postgraduate Building B, 2nd Floor. The briefing was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans I and II, Managers, Supervisors, and Educational Staff (Tendik).

During the briefing session, awards were presented to recognize outstanding graduates, including those who graduated on time, received cum laude, and received publications exceeding the requirements.
Kristianto also received the Second Best Poster award in an event organized by the MIL Study Program. As a tangible contribution, the 180th Master of Environmental Science graduates also donated books to the Undip Postgraduate School.

Dean’s Message: The Importance of Manners and Lifelong Learning
In his remarks at the briefing, the Dean of the Graduate School emphasized that Undip graduates must possess a balance of manners and knowledge.

“Undip graduates must prioritize manners and knowledge. We also encourage graduates to graduate on time, achieve excellence, and achieve publications that exceed the required standards,” the Dean emphasized.
Furthermore, the Dean emphasized the importance of “Lifelong Learning.” He encouraged Master’s graduates to continue their studies to the doctoral level, and encouraged them to actively participate in postdoctoral programs to continue honing their knowledge and contributing to the nation.
