To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Master of Environmental Science (MIL) Study Program, the Graduate School of Diponegoro University held a Seedling Planting event as a demonstration of its shared commitment to environmental conservation. The event took place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the KHDTK Wanadipa Undip, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The event opened at 7:30 a.m. by the Secretary of the Master of Environmental Science Study Program, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.Si., who was the event organizer. The event was followed by a prayer. At 7:40 a.m., the Dean of the Graduate School of UNDIP delivered remarks, followed by remarks from the Head of the Master of Environmental Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Eng. Mayono, S.T., M.T.. The third remark was delivered by the Deputy Head of KHDTK Wanadipa Undip, Dr. Jafron Wasiq Hidayat, M.Sc., representing the Head of KHDTK. After a series of welcoming remarks, a symbolic handover of plant seeds was carried out from the Dean of the Postgraduate School to representatives of KHDTK Wanadipa Undip.
From 8:00 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), the main activity, a seedling planting ceremony, was carried out by all invited guests. The planting ceremony was initiated by the Dean of the Graduate School, followed by the Deputy Head of the Environmental Science and Technology Development Program (KHDTK), the Chair and Secretary of the Environmental Science Master’s Program, MIL educational staff, MIL technician Agus Hastomo, and all students in attendance. This moment served as a tangible symbol of the Environmental Science Master’s Program’s contribution to maintaining ecosystem sustainability and raising environmental awareness among the academic community.
The event concluded at 10:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) with a social gathering, which served as a platform for strengthening togetherness and collaboration among participants.
