Semarang – Alumni of the Master of Environmental Science (MIL) Diponegoro University (Undip) held an online introductory meeting via Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, January 29 at 19.30 WIB. This meeting is part of a series of activities to welcome the 25th anniversary of MIL Undip. The discussion and consultation were guided by Dr. Maryono, attended by alumni from various classes, including alumni of the 2001 class and the youngest alumni, Arif Kurniawan. Also present were the managers of MIL Undip, Dr. Fuad Muhammad and Prof. Dr. Hartuti Purnaweni, MPA, who is also the former Head of the MIL Study Program for the 2010-2015 period.
MIL Undip will celebrate its 25th anniversary on May 1, 2025. At the age of a quarter of a century, it is hoped that alumni can recall the contribution and important role of MIL in the development of environmental science in Indonesia, as well as provide enthusiasm for the progress of MIL in the future.
Purpose of the Meeting
This meeting aims to introduce a series of events for MIL’s 25th anniversary which will take place over the next year. In addition, this meeting is also a forum to accommodate input and suggestions from alumni related to the series of events. Series of Activities for MIL’s 25th Anniversary Identification and Recording of Alumni Success Stories: Collecting and documenting success stories of MIL alumni in various fields. Internal and External Management Strengthening Competition: A competition that aims to improve the quality of MIL’s internal and external management. Environmental Festival: An activity that carries environmental themes and involves various parties. Alumni Gathering: A grand gathering event for all MIL alumni from various generations.
