Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Master of Environmental sciences held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) meeting for students who are in the final stage of their study period. This meeting was held online via the Zoom platform.
This event was attended by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Eng. Maryono, S.T., M.T., and the Secretary of the Study Program, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.S. Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.S. acted as the MC, while Agus Hastomo served as the Zoom operator.
This meeting aims to monitor the progress of the studies of students who will soon complete their studies. A total of six students were invited to attend this Monev, but only three students attended. The students who did not attend were Patria, M. Indriyan Saputra, and Riana Adyaksari.
In his remarks, the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Eng. Maryono, S.T., M.T., expressed his hope that all students whose study period ends this semester can complete their studies well and on time, and that none of them will withdraw. He also emphasized the importance of this Monitoring and Evaluation meeting as a means to provide support and direction to students in completing their final assignments.
The event continued with a presentation from the Secretary of the Study Program, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.S., who delivered material entitled “Discussion of Study Completion Plans”. In his presentation, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.S. discussed various aspects related to study completion, including:
Final assignment completion timeline: Delivering important schedules related to proposal submission, research implementation, report writing, and final exams.
- Administrative requirements: Explaining the administrative requirements that must be met by students before and after the final exam.
- Available resources: Providing information about resources that can be utilized by students, such as libraries, laboratories, and supervisors.
- Tips and tricks for completing studies: Providing practical advice so that students can complete their studies smoothly and on time.
The presentation session ended with a question and answer session, where students who attended could ask questions and discuss with the speakers. This Monev meeting is expected to provide motivation and clear direction for students in completing their studies.
