Semarang – The Master of Environmental Science (MIL) Study Program of Diponegoro University (Undip) began a series of celebrations for its 25th Anniversary with fruit tree planting activities in the MIL land area, Undip Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) on February 1, 2025. This activity involved the entire committee of the 25th MIL Anniversary, alumni, the C Greinde community, students, the Postgraduate School, and the Deputy Head of KHDTK.
The types of fruit trees planted included rambutan, honey avocado, matoa, and mango. This activity was symbolically opened by the Secretary of the MIL Study Program, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si., M.Si., who handed over fruit tree seedlings to the Deputy Head of KHDTK, Dr. Jafron Wasiq Hidayat, M.Sc. Then, this activity was closed by the Head of the MIL Study Program, Dr. Eng. Maryono, S.T., M.T.
Although light rain poured down, the participants’ enthusiasm did not diminish. The tree planting activity continued smoothly and was completed successfully.
This activity is a manifestation of MIL’s concern for the environment and is expected to provide long-term benefits for the surrounding community. In addition, this activity is also an important momentum in strengthening the ties between the entire MIL academic community and alumni.
