Semarang, March 7, 2024 – Ikha Novita Mawa Sukrika successfully defended her thesis in the Environmental Science Masters exam held on Friday, March 7, 2024, at 17.00 WIB in the Environmental Science Masters Courtroom, Postgraduate Building, 4th Floor, Diponegoro University. She was declared to have passed with minor improvements.
In the exam, Ikha presented her thesis entitled “Environmental Impact Analysis of Dust Distribution on the Community on the Cement Industry Transportation Route in Grobogan Regency”. This research was presented before the examining team chaired by Prof. Dr. Sunarsih, M.Si, and consisting of Dr. Subagiyo, M.Si, Dr. Fuad Muhammad, S.Si, M.Si, and Prof. Dr. Hartuti Purnaweni, MPA.
Ikha explained that her research focuses on the environmental impact analysis of dust produced by cement industry transportation activities in Grobogan Regency. She analyzed the impact of dust on public health, and formulated solutions and recommendations to minimize its negative impacts.
The results of Ikha’s research are expected to be a reference and input for relevant stakeholders in efforts to improve environmental quality and public health in Grobogan Regency.
