Semarang – The Environmental Science Masters Program (MIL) of Diponegoro University (Undip) successfully held the initial launch event for a series of activities to celebrate its 25th Anniversary on Friday, January 31, 2025. The event, which took place in the MIL lecture room, 3rd floor of the Postgraduate Building, was attended by various parties, including the Dean of the Postgraduate School (SPS), Vice Dean I, lecturers, Head of the MIL Study Program for the 2000-2025 period, all alumni from the 2000 to 2023 classes, students, and Postgraduate School education staff.
Participants attended both in person (offline) and online. The event started at 09.00 and ended at 11.15 WIB. Alumni from various classes also shared their messages and impressions. Starting from senior alumni, Suparno (class of 2001), Yudha (class of 2005) who attended online, Kamal (class of 2000) who attended offline, to the youngest alumni, Arif Kurnia (class of 2023).
The event was opened by the Dean of the Postgraduate School, Prof. Ir. Muhammad Agung, S.T., M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D. Continued with the delivery of material from Prof. Sudharto P. Hadi, M.E.S., Ph.D. with the title “Tracing the Footprints of MIL Undip”.
This activity is an important momentum for the entire MIL academic community to commemorate history, strengthen friendship, and formulate a vision for the future. The series of activities for the 25th Anniversary of MIL Undip are expected to provide a positive contribution to the development of environmental science in Indonesia.
