Semarang, December 2, 2024 – The Master of Environmental Science Study Program of the Graduate School has successfully passed an important stage in its journey towards improving quality and sustainability. On Monday, December 2, 2024, this study program was officially audited by the international certification body AQC Global LLC. The audit carried out covered three international standards at once, namely ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001: 2018 (Occupational Safety and Health Management System).
The audit, which lasted for a full day, was led directly by the Chief Auditor (Lead Auditor I) Retna Ayu Puspitasari. The auditor team met with the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Eng Maaryono, ST, MT, and Admin Tekdik, Agus Hastomo, SP, to discuss the implementation of the management system that had been built.
The success in passing this audit demonstrates the Master of Environmental Science’s commitment to providing quality education, implementing environmentally friendly practices, and creating a safe and healthy work environment. By achieving this ISO triple star certification, this study program is increasingly trusted by the international community as an educational institution that meets the highest quality standards. The Head of the Study Program wants ISO and AMI Audits to be one package so that they can be Efficient and Effective.

ISO certification indicates that an organization has met the requirements set out in the standard.
