Semarang, February 21, 2025 – Oasiska Nuhannaing Suharyanto, a student of the Environmental Science Study Program, Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University (Undip), successfully completed his research proposal seminar exam on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 09.00 WIB. He was declared to have passed with minor improvements.
The research proposal presented was entitled ‘Existing Study and Prediction of Deep Groundwater Level Elevation Based on ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) Analysis in Semarang City’. This proposal seminar took place in the Master of Environmental Science Meeting Room, Postgraduate School Building, Undip Pleburan Campus.
The examining team that provided input and evaluation consisted of Dr. Budi Warsito, SSI, MSi, and Fahrudin, ST, MT, PhD. Research guidance was provided by Dr. Muhammad Helmi, MSi, and Dr. Jafron Wasiq Hidayat, MSc.
This research aims for:
To study the existing groundwater level elevation influenced by the spatial distribution of land use types based on ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) analysis.
To study the prediction of deep groundwater level elevation in the next 5 to 20 years according to the spatial distribution of land use types using ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) analysis in Semarang City.
By using the ANFIS method, this research is expected to provide a significant contribution to the management of groundwater resources in Semarang City.
Oasiska Nuhannaing Suharyanto expressed her gratitude, “I am very grateful for the valuable input from the examination team and supervisors. This input has greatly helped me in perfecting my research proposal. I am committed to carrying out this research as well as possible and producing outputs that are beneficial to society and science.”
This graduation marks the next step for Oasiska Nuhannaing Suharyanto in completing her research. The results of this research are expected to provide new insights and solutions in the management of groundwater resources, especially in Semarang City.”
